📌Commission Process Guide
All Commissions must be submitted via their respective forms
❓If there is any questions not covered via this TOS, you can always reach out to my email; __pdcommissions[at]gmail[.]com
__
1️⃣ References
Please use visual references when filling a commission form. if you are unable to find visual guides, simplified jotnotes for what you'd like work as well. Even stick figure composition works too!
I will not accept intimidating essays of text. This is for getting a clear and concise idea for what you want and expect to get. Please use relevant references.
⚠️ ANY FORMS RECEIVED WITHOUT REFERENCES WILL BE CONSIDERED INVALID IF REFERENCES ARE NOT SENT WITHIN A WEEK AFTER THE FORM IS RECEIVED;
Preparing References
IMAGES
You can quickly make a folder in Google Drive/Google Docs, Imgur, Photobucket, Pinterest, etc. and upload the relevant images to these services.If there are multiple folders for different outfits/objects/forms and such, please make sure to point out the one(s) relevant to your commission!Please avoid sending me scattered references, such as sending one by one on a twitter DM or through email -- these can be easily lost or forgotten, I strongly recommend using the free services above;If you have a carrd specifically for your OC and/or a Toyhouse page for it with references already there, these should work perfectly as well!If you're sending me video game screenshots as references, please try not to take them at strange angles & take pictures somewhere where there is natural lighting (if game as photo mode use neutral lights);
TEXT
Finding images that most resemble your character, haircut photos and any other details, stock images and etc. accompanied by text is good! However for text descriptions, I ask that you answer the following:> Describe them physically: What is their body build? Face shape? Hair? Colors? Any specific features like scars or markings? For this part, descriptions like "they have a gentle disposition" are also helpful;> Talk about them, having some idea of what they do and what their personality traits are will greatly help me accurately depicting your character
This can be a small description or just 1-3 words if you want -- there's no need to send the life story though!!> What are they wearing? Any accessories and props you want me to include? (Please note that complexity adds to the price)
2️⃣Confirmation / Payment
All Commissions first and foremost must be paid upfront
An accepted commission form should get a cofirmation email with your quote[s] and once confirmed by the client, there will be an invoice sent to your PayPal.Payment plans are allowed for commissions that are quoted 100$ and over. But, payment plans should be discussed before invoice is sent off
** The Process**
Sketch check in >>> Third check in [lineart or colors] >>> Completed piece
That is the general process and steps of contact during a commission. Depending on complexity of commission there might be more check ins. Character Design and Full illustrations might require several passes before completion.Same for less complex commissions; Chibis and Flat colors may only get a sketch confirmation.It is the clients responsibility to be responsive to emails
↘️ Edits / Changes
I accept edit requests to your piece. Please make sure you give a good look when you get the rough sketch and take your time to approve it!
⭕ A mistake on my part that requires an edit is free of charge; meaning I missed a detail clearly stated on the form or on a reference.⭕ The maximum for minor edits is 3 (this might include details I've missed in your character's design or simple add-ons). Additional edits after a third minor edit will have a fee;
⭕ The maximum for major edits is 3 during the sketch and rough phases of your commission.⭕ Again if you have a specific idea, pose or mood in mind, make sure to be clear with its explanation -- Even a small stickman scribble can help!Ideally all your changes are done during the sketch phase, although I understand that in some circumstances you may end up not feeling a certain detail, pose, or color when it reaches halfway of the commission progress;
❓ EXAMPLES of things that COULD count as a significant changeChanging the direction of an arm CAN be a significant change (if it modifies the flow and composition of the drawing)Changing a pose is a significant change (As it requires a complete redraw)
Changing a color to a completely different one CAN be a significant change (if it clashes with the rest of the palette and thus requires a large change of all the other colors to accomodate the change)❓ EXAMPLES of things that would NOT count as a significant change
Changing a hand's pose;
Changing an expression;
Keep in mind, asking for tweaks and edits not specified on your form/references may require fees from 15%-50% of base price, depending on complexity.
3️⃣Commission Delivery
All clients recieve a lowres and highres file of their commission.
Clients are always able to ask for specific sizeing or file formats.I do not send clients unwatermarked versions of commissions. Unless compensated with a fee. But please do not upload unwatermarked work of mine, only upload with watermark and with credit!
The Turnaround
Depending on my schedule and other factors like queue, health, complexity of commission it could take 1 week or 1-2 months. Please keep in mind your placement in queue.
More frequent inquiries as to the status of your commission are also welcome, within reason. You will always be updated if something comes up or interferes with my work schedual!Due dates are accounted for. If commission requires to be finished on short notice an additional rush fee will be applied to quote.
🔸 Crediting, Permissions, etc.
⭕ I allow the client to repost their commissioned piece on social media websites, however proper credit must be given and somewhere visible.⭕ If you have a specific purpose in mind for your commission, please let me know in advance! I will try to keep this in mind during the production of your piece;⭕ Editing/cropping/printing of my work for personal use is allowed - However, I request that the original watermark remain visible when possible. For anything that renders the watermark illegible, please have a link nearby in the description/caption for the piece;⭕ I do not allow commercial redistribution of work commissioned for personal use. You do not have the right to make any form of profit whatsoever from my work commissioned for this purpose;⭕ I retain all rights to the artwork as the artist but NOT to the character. I will NOT be using any commissioned artwork for commercial use such as shirts, prints, stickers, etc;⭕ Please let me know if this commission will be for commercial use. Further details regarding commercial use fees must be discussed through email;⭕ __You absolutely CANNOT use my work as an NFT or anything similar or related.
I don't make and don't support NFTs, cryptocurrencies and blockchain stuff, with that said if you see anyone using my art for these purposes do let me know.__
🔸 Refunds
⭕ The client cannot under any circumstances get a refund for a completed drawing — they are given several opportunities to provide feedback on the progress of their artwork, it is up to the client to ensure that we are on the same page, and that the artwork is proceeding in a satisfactory direction.;⭕ A refund will be given if the client wishes to terminate a commission that has not considerably progressed and I have not given any updates as to why;⭕ If the client wishes to terminate a commission that has progressed at a certain amount, **I will refund a percentage of the price paid. **This percentage will depend on how much work was done;⭕ If I have decided to discontinue working on the piece for any reason, the client is to be notified and payment will be fully refunded regardless of the status of the commission.
Phew, long read but thank you so much for readin' it!🤠💜

August 8th to August 31stBy filling a form you agree to the terms and conditions below
➥The Following Commission types do not have the sale applied to them:
Animation
Comics
Character Design
[includeing reffsheets]
➥Sale % effects only the base price.
➥I cannot take commissions with tight due dates during this sale.Depending on length of queue you should expect your commission to be finished anywhere between 1 week to 1 month. If something gets in the way of time, you will be contacted.
➥ Process for these will be different. There will not be as many check-ins on commission. This is why custom character designs and reff sheets are not effected by the sale. As I don't feel comfortable spending less time getting clarification on that commission type.
